Happy “Howl-o-ween”

A great white shark sighting off the coast of St. Pete Beach, FL has struck fear in the lives of locals. Never before has a predator of such size and magnitude entered these waters. Usual sightings are off the Pacific coast where the water temperatures are cooler and the visibility is low. California, Mexico, South Africa and Australia are home to many of these terrors. The great white, or as scientists call them, Carcharodon carcharias averages 16 feet in length. Equipped with 3000 teeth they have no problems cutting into any type of prey. The streamlined shape of their body coupled with a distinct dorsal fin allows them to torpedo through the water up to 25 mph. Beware if you are swimming in the Gulf of Mexico this weekend :)
Hope everyone has a safe and happy “Howl-o-ween”
