Grady {Tampa Pet Photography}

Meet Grady, a super sweet golden retriever. To the eye, you would think he has lived the happiest life a golden retriever could. But he actually has quite the story to tell. Right after he celebrated his 10th birthday his mom noticed a slight limp in his step. Grady has always had little strut to him, but this was different. This wasn’t the same. This felt wrong. So owner, Aviva, decided to get him checked out. She couldn’t have received worse news. Bone cancer. Bone cancer is an extremely invasive cancer to both humans and pets. Treatments are pretty limited and difficult on the body. The chance of a full recovery is always questionable. Grady just recently completed his fourth treatment of canine chemo and seems to be doing pretty good! I felt so honored when Aviva contacted me to photograph Grady. He is such a sweet pup and brought many smiles and laughs to me that afternoon. You can learn more about Grady, and Grady’s gift, a website created to help people and their pets towards a cancer free future, by clicking here. Here are some of my favorites from Grady’s shoot.
