Save Our Strays ~ Tampa Pet Photographer

Sugar and Spice and everything nice. Now it’s a little early to be reciting Christmas lines however this is what twirled in my head while I met all the adoptable felines from Save Our Strays. Save our Strays came to Pawsitively Pets on Harbour Island last weekend. They were there to help these kittens find a “fur”-ever home. Val and Donna were the wonderful volunteers who explained to me who they are and what they do. Save our Strays is a no-kill, non-profit organization whose mission is to find shelter and homes for abandoned cats and kittens. Over the past 14 years they have successfully adopted out over 8,000 cats and kittens. Even better is that all adoptable felines are spayed and neutered, tested for FELV and FIV as well as micro chipped and vaccinated. Below are some pictures of the adorable felines looking for a good home. The first one up is Spice. I fell in love with this 4 month old as soon as I met her. Born in June of this year she was rescued from a feral cat colony. She is a bundle of energy and love. The next girl up for adoptions is Charlotte. This gorgeous tuxedo lady was born in April. She is a lap cat that just wants to be loved. Bridget is one of my favorites as well. I loved her coloring. She is slightly quiet at first and likes to assess everything before warming up, however once she does, she lets the love flood out to everyone. And the last one I photographed was Peaches. Peaches didn’t feel like coming out of her cage for photos. Which was fine, when your 8 years old I think you can do whatever you like. Peaches is another one of those cats that is just looking for a lap.
