Studio Cat Session

I get alot of questions about cat sessions. Most people assume that pet photography is all about the dogs but that’s not necessarily the case. If I could break down my pet sessions, I would say about 15% is feline, 84% is canine, and the remaining 1% is other animals (birds, bunnies, horses, etc). I get really excited when I get the opportunity to photograph cats. But try two Maine Coon Cats. First of all, they walked into the store on leashes. They took their time walking back to the studio as they wanted to sniff and explore everything in front of them. They were not scared or timid with anything rather 100% curious. Maine Coon Cats are actually the oldest natural breed in North America. Native to Maine, they adapt well to many climates. What I love most about this breed is that they are big cats. They average around 20 pounds. Here are some of my favorite shots from my Maine Coon Cat Session.
